Non-governmental organization Society and Banks conducted a research of activities of a credit bureau in Georgia. Research showed Creditinfo Georgia’s important role in the development of the financial sector and underlined the benefits associated with its activities: lower interest rates on loans, increased access to finance, improved service conditions, reduced credit risk and etc.

The researchalso revealed that new information sources can benefit individuals and companies to increase access to finance and on the other hand give possibility to organizations better assess the credit risk and improve investment environment in the country
