Exchanging Information about Operational Risks
From January 1, 2014 the Banks of Georgia are enabled to exchange information about operational risks through the database of Creditinfo Georgia. Those are data about the operational incidents/actions which may result or have already resulted damages to a bank or a client.
The damages may be caused by unlawful action of bank staff, internal bank procedures or malfunctions of the used systems, also by the actions of third parties intending to misappropriate or fraudulently obtain some property or get any other favor illegally.
The above service is available for any bank using the international regulations of Bazel Committee of Banking Supervision (Bazel II) for the purpose of minimizing the system risks.
Creditinfo Georgia provides the clients with the possibility of direct import and export of the data in the system and unlimited access to the database of operational risks.
